It just arrived in the mail! Yes, it is here. The new, fourth edition of Cornelius Van Til’s The Defense of the Faith. This is the third in the series of reissues by Presbyterian and Reformed Publishing where new introductions and explanatory notes are provided to shed light on potential obscurities in the writings of Dr. Van Til.

Dr. K. Scott Oliphint, professor of systematic theology and apologetics atWestminster Theological Seminary, provides us with a fascinating introduction and annotations. This fourth edition restores the text to its original 1955 form in which Van Til interacts extensively with his critics.

Stay tuned for further posts where I interact with this foundational text. I am really looking forward to sitting down at the table to feast on this volume.
