Card’s Biblical Lyricism
One cannot help but admire the biblical lyricism of Michael Card. He redefined biblical compositions at a time when the Christian music world was suffering from creative and theological anemia. Card’s Things We Leave Behind and God’s Own Fool are two of the best examples of his creativity and theological substance.
Yes. He’s improved a lot since the days of “El Shaddai”–a pretty song with incomprehensible lyrics, and Hebrew such as no Hebrew ever wrote.

You are hilarious. Thank you for dismissing my attempt to praise Card’s biblicism, by critiquing his exegesis. Oh well. I still like the two songs I posted links to 🙂
