John Gerstner on Roman Catholicism

Over at the Ligonier Ministry blog you will find a series of posts from portions of John Gerstner’s primer on Roman Catholicism. In a day of doctrinal reductionism and willful naivete’ in regard to false teaching, many in protestant churches do not know what the Roman Catholic church teaches. It is incumbent upon us to be a people who search diligently for truth and know how to defend the truth of the Gospel against false teaching. Gerstner’s short primer is a good place to start–specifically with regard to Rome’s doctrine of justification–in coming to an understanding about the nature of Rome’s doctrinal stance.
