Phil Ryken Installed at Wheaton

Today, Dr. Philip Graham Ryken was installed as the eighth President of Wheaton College, in Wheaton, IL. Dr. Ryken served as the senior minister of Tenth Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia, PA for the past 10 years. Here is what Donald Meyer, a trustee and co-chairman of the Presidential Selection Committee, had to say about the prospect of Phil’s ministry at Wheaton:

“There is no doubt in our minds that Dr. Ryken will hold the preeminence of Jesus Christ and His Kingdom above all else as he becomes an influential part of the life, spirit and future of Wheaton College.“ “He lives and breathes his commitment to the College mission statement: to help build the church and improve society worldwide by promoting the development of whole and effective Christians through excellence in programs of Christian higher education, and to do all things For Christ and His Kingdom.”
