Sinclair Ferguson, William Still and Eric Alexander Crieff Fellowship Lectures (1979-2007)
My introduction to Sinclair Ferguson led, in turn, to my grateful discovery of William Still and Eric Alexander. I can honestly say that having listening to and read everything I could find by these men for well over a decade now, I have not been influenced more by any three preachers and theologians in the 20th Century.
William Still, who is responsible for mentoring several of our great Reformed theologians and pastors, started a gathering of Reformed and Evangelical ministers in the Church of Scotland in the 70s that went by the name of, “The Crieff Fellowship.” Those who gathered to these meetings met for times of preaching, teaching, prayer and interaction. In a Christ the Center interview we conducted several years ago, Rev. Alexander spoke of some of his memories from these meetings.
Thanks to Tapes From Scotland, we have all of the audio from the 1973-2000 Crieff Fellowship meetings. In addition, Seraph Media has provided the audio to the 2001-2007 Crieff Fellowship meeting. While I would recommend that you take time to listen to all of them, here are all the talks William Still, Sinclair Ferguson and Eric Alexander gave there between 1973 and 2000.

Thanks for pulling out yet more of these treasures from the “Tapes from Scotland” and related efforts.
I think you’ll want to check the link for the second of the Eric Alexander talks: somehow it has been linked to a Google search for Rod Finlayson sermons: a worthy search indeed, but not a link for Eric Alexander on John 11!
Nick,
Great work!
Please check the penultimate link (viz., Eric Alexander “The Raising of Lazarus from the Dead“ (John 11)).
Treasure….!
Thanks.
Thank you for the resources from the Crieff Fellowship meetings. I am a Scot living in Canada, but I am keenly interested in Church History in Scotland! Sinclair Ferguson is one of my trusted theologians and authors and so it will be a great blessing to listen to him and William Still and Eric Alexander.
