I have one foot in the Reformed camp and the other in the Annabaptist camp. I believe that birth proceeds faith, that salvation is all a matter of grace from beginning to end. On the otherhand, I am not willing to spiritualize Jesus` teaching in the sermon on the mount, e.g., his teaching that it is the responsibility of the believer to love one`s enemy, which puts me in the Anaabaptist (pacifist) camp. I think I could possibly be helped by reading Bavinck`s “Saved by Grace.”
