UN Push to Take Away Freedom of Speech

James White, over at Alpha and Omega Ministries , pointed out this video in which CNN treats the subject of the UN and freedom of speech. It appears that the UN is now pushing to make it illegal to say or write anything that contradicts Muslim beliefs. This is very serious. When liberal news media CNN is concerned you can be sure that it serious! Watch for yourself.

    Thanks Nick for this important post. In the increasingly problematic nature of *truth* in not only a post-modern, and consumer driven culture but also a post conservative evangelical culture, what something happens to mean to *me” just doesn’t cut it. Freedom of speech may be tied to the freedom of expression as well as public address and public assembly, but when powerful global organizations start defining the nature of *truth* for us, this is scary. *Meaning* can be socially constructed … ya, ya. This academic nonsense will be seen for what it is when in truth people are arrested and put in jail. There is a right and wrong that transcends all subjective narrative positing between *meaning* and *truth*. Otherwise, it is the govt that makes right and wrong.
