Forthcoming Jonathan Edwards and Scotland Volume

Dunedin Press is set to release the Jonathan Edwards and Scotland volume. The chapters were lectures given at the March 2009 University of Glasgow and Yale University sponsored Jonathan Edwards and Scotland Conference (University of Glasgow). Among the noteworthy contributions were Adrian Neale’s “Petrus Van Masstricht: Exchanges in Scotland, the Netherlands, and America,” Michael McClenahan’s “New England’s Nemesis: John Tillotson and the dismantling of Puritanism,” David Bebbington’s “A Historical Review of Revivals,” and David Ceri Jones’ “‘Sure the time here now is like New England’: What happened when the Welsh Calvinistic Methodists read Jonathan Edwards?”

My lecture on “Edwards, McLaurin and the Transatlantic Concert of Prayer” made its way in there somehow, but I would read the other chapters first if I were you–that is, if you can afford the hefty price tag!
